WhatsApp also introduces a notification system relating to certain activities.<\/span><\/p>\nParents may be informed, for example, when the teenager:<\/span><\/p>\n\n- join a new group;<\/span><\/li>\n
- create a group;<\/span><\/li>\n

- add a new contact;<\/span><\/li>\n

- only follow parent-approved channels;<\/span><\/li>\n
- do not use the Channels.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The parent can also decide whether or not to allow the creation of new Channels.<\/span><\/p>\nMeta AI also joins WhatsApp's parental controls<\/b><\/h2>\n
The most interesting part is probably <\/span>Meta AI<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\nWhatsApp lets parents choose between two levels of use of the assistant:<\/span><\/p>\n\n- Standard<\/b>, based on settings intended for users aged 13 and over;<\/span><\/li>\n
- Limited<\/b>, which places additional restrictions on the topics the teenager can interact with Meta AI about.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The most restrictive option therefore further limits the content available through the Assistant.<\/span><\/p>\nAccording to the official documentation, some Meta AI features based on <\/span>Private Processing<\/b> are not available when this mode is selected.<\/span><\/p>\nThe integration of parental controls directly into the AI assistant shows how child safety is becoming an increasingly important issue also in new conversational interfaces.<\/span><\/p>\nParents will not be able to read chats<\/b><\/h2>\n
