The funds, allocated by the MISE, the Ministry of Economic Development, amount to 750 million euros and must be used for the creation of new products and services, in the context of the ecological transition and the circular economy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Who can submit the application and through which modalities? What requirements must it meet and which projects are financed? Read on for all the answers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>What is the Italian Green New Deal?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Italian Green New Deal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> it is an incentive that provides financial relief for those companies that decide to carry out research projects, programs and interventions aimed at promoting the ecological transition and the circular economy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The measure, according to what is reported by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&quot;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is intended to support the projects of companies admitted to the subsidized loans of the FRI (Revolving Fund to support companies and investment in research), and provides for the granting of contributions to support industrial research, experimental development and, for SMEs, industrialization of research and development results<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&quot;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mise.gov.it\/it\/incentivi\/green-new-deal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Who can apply for funding?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Businesses of any size engaged in:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">industrial activities;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">agro-industrial activities;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">craft activities;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">services to industry;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">research centers.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Furthermore, the projects can be presented individually or jointly with other companies and must obviously fall within the scope envisaged by the <\/span><b>Italian Green New Deal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The proposals must in fact have the following objectives:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the decarbonisation of the economy;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the circular economy;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the reduction of the use of plastic and its replacement with alternative and ecological materials;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">urban regeneration;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sustainable tourism;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the reduction of environmental risks deriving from climate change.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, projects will be considered that will demonstrate a high degree of innovation and sustainability and that meet these additional four points:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the realization must take place on the national territory;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the expenditure and costs of the project must be no less than 3 million and no more than 40 million euros;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the project must have a minimum duration of 12 months and not more than 36 months;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the project must necessarily be started after the submission of the application to take advantage of the <\/span><b>Italian Green New Deal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>How to access funding<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The<\/span><b> Italian Green New Deal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> provides that the submission of the application can only be made online, starting from 17 November 2022, from Monday to Friday (10:00 - 18:00).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are some useful links for submitting your application:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mise.gov.it\/it\/incentivi\/green-new-deal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ministry page \u2013 Italian Green New Deal<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mise.gov.it\/index.php\/it\/normativa\/decreti-direttoriali\/decreto-direttoriale-23-agosto-2022-green-new-deal-termini-e-modalita-di-presentazione-delle-domande\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Terms and conditions for submitting the application<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Firms applying the application can access the concessions through two distinct procedures, at the counter or by negotiation:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">over the counter, for programs of no less than 3 million and no more than 10 million euros, with a maximum of 3 participating companies;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">negotiation, for programs with amounts between 10 and 40 million euros, with a maximum of 5 participating companies.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, the application must be accompanied by:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">detailed technical data sheet of the project;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">project development plan;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">declaration in lieu of notarial deed and requirements for access to the subsidy;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">company size calculation statement;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">certification from the lending bank, with digital signature, of the granting of the bank loan;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">collaboration contract, in case of joint application.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>The concessions<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As reported by the Ministry, the funds allocated by <\/span><b>Italian Green New Deal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are divided as follows:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">600 million euros for the granting of subsidized loans, from the Revolving Fund for business support and research investment (FRI), of which:\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">300 million for projects that access the counter procedure;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">300 million for projects that access the negotiation procedure;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">150 million euros for the granting of grants, of which:\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">75 million for projects that access the counter procedure;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">75 million for projects accessing the negotiation procedure.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For more information, please refer to<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mise.gov.it\/index.php\/it\/assistenza\/domande-frequenti\/green-new-deal-domande-frequenti-faq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> FAQ section of the Ministry website<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, to the section <\/span><b>Italian Green New Deal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digife.it\/en\/\">Digife<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Starting from Thursday 17 November 2022 it is possible to submit applications to request the subsidized loans and grants provided for by the Italian Green New Deal.
