The growing popularity of which it has been the protagonist in recent months, has pushed more and more businesses to approach this tool, also by virtue of the fact that it is completely free.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To take advantage of the <\/span><b>Facebook Shop<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to its fullest potential, however, it must be configured correctly. Below you will therefore find a guide that will explain step by step everything that needs to be done, what to avoid and some useful tips.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>How to get started<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although it may seem trivial to many, to take advantage of the <\/span><b>Facebook Shop<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the first step is obviously to have created a Facebook page of your business. After that, some preliminary operations are necessary before you can configure the Shop. Therefore, make sure you comply with the following conditions:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You must be an administrator of the Facebook page;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You must be an administrator of the Business Manager;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You must own an e-commerce site (this excludes sites such as Amazon);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You need to verify the domain of your site in the \u201cBrand Safety\u201d section (located within the Business Manager).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Furthermore, if you want to implement the Shop also on Instagram, you must meet two other conditions:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Being an administrator of a professional Instagram account;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Connect the Facebook account with the Instagram account.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you have fulfilled all these requirements, you can move on to creating the Shop.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>How to set up the Facebook Shop<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first thing to do is to access your Business Manager and, in the drop-down menu, select the item &quot;Sales Manager&quot;.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digife.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Immagine-2022-08-25-101009.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-32371 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.digife.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Immagine-2022-08-25-101009.jpg\" alt=\"Facebook Shop - Sales Manager\" width=\"393\" height=\"543\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.digife.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Immagine-2022-08-25-101009.jpg 393w, https:\/\/www.digife.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Immagine-2022-08-25-101009-217x300.jpg 217w, https:\/\/www.digife.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Immagine-2022-08-25-101009-9x12.jpg 9w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 393px) 100vw, 393px\" \/><\/a>Now a new page will open, where you will have to select \u201cAdd Account\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-32372 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.digife.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Immagine-2022-08-25-101327.jpg\" alt=\"Facebook Shop - Add Account\" width=\"820\" height=\"764\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.digife.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Immagine-2022-08-25-101327.jpg 820w, https:\/\/www.digife.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Immagine-2022-08-25-101327-300x280.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.digife.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Immagine-2022-08-25-101327-768x716.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.digife.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Immagine-2022-08-25-101327-13x12.jpg 13w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 820px) 100vw, 820px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At this point the actual configuration of the<\/span><b> Facebook Shop<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is divided into four phases. Let&#039;s see them one by one.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>The procedure<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The process of configuring the <\/span><b>Facebook Shop<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, although guided, it is not always intuitive and easily understandable for the layman. The four steps to take in this section are:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">payment method setting;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">setting up the sales channel;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">connection of the shop with a company account;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">summary, verification and completion of the configuration.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Payment method setup<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><b>Facebook Shop <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">allows you to choose the method by which to sell your products, thanks to three different options:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">purchase via another website;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">purchase through messages;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">direct purchase.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first case provides that users who click on your product on the Facebook Shop are sent to your e-commerce site, where the eventual sale takes place. The second point, the less common one, saves you from setting up a purchase procedure. Interested users will be redirected to your WhatsApp Business or Messenger account and will have to contact you to complete the purchase.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, there is also the possibility (for now only in the United States) to make sales directly from Facebook (or Instagram).<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Setting up the sales channel<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a simple operation, you simply have to select the Facebook page (and possibly the Instagram account) to which to connect the Shop. From the list that will be shown, select your business page and enter the required information: email address and website URL.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Linking the shop with a company account<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now you need to link the Business Manager account you intend to use for the Shop. If you have more than one corporate account, make sure you link the correct one, otherwise you won&#039;t be able to manage the <\/span><b>Facebook Shop<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Configuration summary, verification and completion<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have not yet created a product catalog, the wizard will send you directly to the summary of the operation, automatically creating a catalog in which you can subsequently insert your items.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After checking that you have made all the required connections correctly, click \u201cComplete setup\u201d. It will now be up to Facebook to check and approve your request. This usually takes 24 to 48 hours.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To find out if and when yours<\/span><b> Facebook Shop<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has been approved, periodically check it<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> State of the accoun<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">t in section <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Settings<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. When the writing appears <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Active<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, all that remains is to click on the &quot;Publish Shop&quot; button to actually see it online.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>The Facebook Shop product catalog<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The last thing left to do is insert products to be &quot;showcased&quot; in the Shop. Go back to the Sales Manager section and select the &quot;Add catalog&quot; item, to create one from scratch, or on the &quot;Catalog&quot; item, to modify an existing one.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To load the products, select &quot;Articles&quot;, then you will be offered four ways to do the operation:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">manual;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">group;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Facebook pixel;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">connect a partner platform.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you opt for the manual solution you will have to upload the items individually, add a photograph, product name, description, price and any other features. The batch upload, on the other hand, allows you to upload a CSV, TSV or XML file, to insert multiple products at the same time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Facebook pixel, for those unfamiliar with this tool, is a strip of code that measures and collects data on the behavior of users who interact with your Facebook page.
