This is confirmed by data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Investments in fixed assets in the sector saw an increase of 5.5% compared to a year ago, reversing the downward trend recorded after the first two months. According to the ministry, the profits of communications equipment manufacturers increased by 4.9% and those of computer manufacturers recorded a growth of 51.7%.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>However, in the first quarter, mobile phone production in China shrank by 14.7% compared to the same period last year, according to Chinese ministry data.
