The Alcatel One Touch Watch smartwatch was presented during the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona. In addition to a display of 1.22 inches in diameter with unfortunately not very high resolution, which should however save some battery, it offers the possibility of being connected to an Android smartphone. The USB charging port directly on the strap is another of its convenient solutions. This simple but elegant device has won several awards such as the IF Design Award 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alcatel also arrives at the smartwatch market with theAlcatel OneTouch Watch<\/a>, a stylish device at a surprisingly affordable price.<\/p>\n

L'Alcatel OneTouch Watch<\/strong> is available internationally from the end of May at an introductory price from \u20ac 129 to \u20ac 169 depending on the country of sale. The price was one of the features that made it very attractive to researchers in this category of wearable devices.<\/p>\n

Inspired by the Moto 360, one of the best and most resistant Android Wear smartwatches, the Alcatel model comes with a round dial and an elegant aluminum frame. The plastic or metal band contains the USB port to charge the device (full charge in about 50 minutes). This is one of the more practical solutions than the competitors.<\/p>\n

Right, and as an uncommon element in the world of wearable technology<\/strong> in this price range, it features a physical key camouflaged with the overall design. The bottom of the screen is black and acts as a back button. The case back is made of plastic with the heart rate monitor sensor in the center.<\/p>\n

It is resistant to water and dust, therefore ideal for sportsmen, athletes and nature lovers.<\/p>\n

The novelty is represented by the NFC technology<\/a><\/strong>, used to speed up pairing with other devices via Bluetooth. Technology that is not used by any other device in the category and that adds value to this smartwatch.<\/p>\n

L'Alcatel OneTouch Watch<\/strong> moreover, it is compatible with both Android and iOS. The smartwatch is managed by an app that works with both Android and Android devices. The app drawer<\/em> offers a great design, very similar to what Windows 8 offers.<\/p>\n

It allows you to control smartphone notifications, music and camera via bluetooth. By touching the screen we can control the playback of music and the shutter of the connected smartphone's camera or make it sound to locate it more easily. However, no microphone has been integrated into the device so it is impossible to carry out voice commands.<\/p>\n

On the display, in addition to seeing the time, you can receive and view calls, updates, SMS, emails, WhastApp, Skype and you can set a alarm<\/em> anti-loss that is activated when we move away from the device.<\/p>\n
