The group of cybercriminals “0v1ru$” managed to breach the systems of SyTech, one of the most important IT suppliers of the FSB (Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation), thus opening an important breach in the security of the Russian secret services.

According to what was reported by BBC Russia, the group allegedly claimed responsibility for the attack on twitter on July 13, publishing, among other things, the screenshot of a page of the SyTech website that they modified. An unpredictable attack that leaves us perplexed, like the recent episode reported to NASA (NASA hacked, 500 MB of data stolen from a Raspberry Pi).

According to the report, the hackers allegedly stole a considerable amount of data (about 7.5 TB of confidential data), subsequently sharing it with another group, Digital Revolution, which in turn contacted the various newspapers to spread the news. .

Among the data stolen in the attack stand out the plans of FSB and SyTech to eliminate anonymity on TOR, the management of sensitive data on social media, in addition to the already launched plan to separate the Russian internet from the global network.
